Cody Bischoff, Graphic Designer & Surrealist Painter

My name is Cody and I am a local Firefighter and artist in Denver, Colorado. I primarily work somewhere between graphic design and acrylic paints. After graduating Arizona State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Digital Design, I began to sharpen my skills in computer design with a growing interest in surrealist painting and a life-long passion to become a municipal firefighter. I am currently 3 years in to both of those endeavors and continuing to march forward. I have found that the contrast between the fast paced adrenaline ride of running 911 calls and the calming therapeutic qualities of painting are an incredible balance. As you will see, some of my life shines through into my art.
I am very driven by the relationship between chaos and order, often bringing geometric and organic styles to the same piece; this usually includes a wild and enthusiastic background. This approach tends to give my art a paradoxical edge most of the time, especially with my aggressive use of warm and cool colors. I plan to continue growing my art business alongside my journey within the Fire Department, and continue to appreciate all the amazing things that Colorado has to offer.
